Since the early days of AutoCAD, 4DGraphics has been involved with pushing the limits of 3D modelling and animation. With the introduction of 3DStudio and Animator, and later Digital Element's WorldBuilder, the tools are finally powerful enough and affordable enough to bring professional results within reach of even the tiniest budgets.

One might question then "Why would we need a rendering service if it's all so easy now?" The answer is that we have spent the last 12 years or so learning the software's abilities and shortcomings, and the learning curve has been both long and steep.

In fact, on a typical still image 3D rendering, we will typically use 5 separate software packages to create an accurate and photorealistic model. It seems a bit much, but we have found no single-source solution to being able to design, develop, and output renderings (either stills or animations).

We are active providers of freelance services on Odesk, Elance, Guru, and Freelancer, so if you post a job there that fits our experience and expertise, we will most likely quote on it.  You won't find us to be the cheapest bidders, but we learned a long time ago that "cheap is expensive", and we have won many projects because the buyer orginally chose to go with the lower bidder. CURRENT PROJECTS:

June '11 - Develop a concept plan for a homeowner in Indiana who wanted to connect an existing house and garage with a new 2-story addition. The challenge was the odd angle at which the two structures would meet.

April '11 - Work with a local architect during his transition from "paper" to Chief Architect, including setting up defaults and determining best methods for translating previous projects to "Chief"

May '11 - Collaboration with a developer in Panama who needed an overview concept of a multi-phase, multi-use project that depended on approval of our Phase 1 concept

March '11 - Develop full site 3d design with drainage and 3d visualization for a mid-income delvelopment in Grand Cayman

March '11 - Build an accurate 3d model and create rendered views for a solar PV field to insure neighbors will be screened adequately from the site

February '11 - Work with client to develop a full resort site with public and private residences, amenities, and support facilities

February '11 - Provide landscape and hardscape concepts for a client to take advantage of their large property without an extravagant budget

January '11 - Provide 2D and 3D drafting services for a large, multi-national alternative energy manufacturer

RECENT PROJECTS AND PRICING:

May '11 - We worked closely with the Wall, NJ Soccer Club, who are planning to add a new turf field to their soccer complex. We built the 3d model using country GIS data and field data gathered during a meeting with the Club. The rendered images will be used to secure private funding for the project.

February '11 - This client was working with a developer to present a site improvement plan for an inner city area in Elizabeth, NJ.  The visual concern here was how to create a traditional and familiar feel to the fast-food restaurant while maintaining visual access to the larger "big box" anchor store that was sited further back on the lot.

August '10 - For this client we were required to create an accurate 3D model of a project in Malaysia. Our work involved taking PDF's of the architectural drawings and incorporating various finish details for the lighting, benches, and landscape.

September '10 - This project was for a developer in New Jersey who was presenting a proposed gas/convenience/food court project to his investors and needed a realistic view of the finished site.

Feb '10 - Create a full 3d model and walkthrough for a multi-family home in Brazil. The renders and animations would be used for marketing.

Jan '10 - Provide modeling and rendering services to a client who was considering a large 3-story addition. They were concerned that the addition would overpower the home. We worked together to make some modifications to minimize the visual impact. Recently they also requested our services to help visualize a detached garage addition to the same home. Total for both projects is $550

Jan '10 - Provide modeling and rendering for a client who is rehabilitating several dozen empty lots in North Philidelphia. We developed all of the floorplans, street renders, and continue to work with the client to provide consulting during the zoning and permitting phases

Dec '09 - Build a 3d model of the client's proposed home from their architectural plans. The main focus was to give accurate views of the roof lines to help them visualize the finished home.

Nov '09 - Create a 3d model and flyby for an Irish football training and competition complex. The client is a developer/contractor who wanted to have a good representation of their work to add to their website. Cost for this project was $800
